Airy and delicious Christmas stollen muffins

If a whole Christmas stollen is too much for you, you should try these smaller Christmas stollen muffins. They are perfect for the little hunger in between.

Ingredients:

Preparing the Christmas Stollen Muffins:

• Roughly grate the marzipan on a household grater and finely chop the orange peel. Wash the raisins, drain and pat dry. Dust with 1 tsp flour.
• Cream together the butter, marzipan, sugar, vanilla sugar and Christmas stollen. Stir in eggs one at a time.
• Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in briefly, alternating with the milk.
• Fold in the orange peel, chopped almonds and the raisins.
• Pour the batter into the wells of a muffin tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (150°C fan oven) for about 30 minutes.
• Allow the muffins to cool slightly, then lift them out of the muffin tin. Dust heavily with powdered sugar.
