Farewell games on children’s birthday parties
It’s almost over and your child’s birthday party should be coming to an end. But the little guests are still too excited and just can’t calm down? We show you here which games ensure a nice and relaxed end to the day.
Farewell Games: Animal Mime
This is a very quiet game as all the children are seated. You tell one of the animal species that it has to portray in pantomime and without making any noise. The child who guesses the animal gets to slip into the role of an animal next.
Farewell Games: Marble Game
You need a bed sheet, a toilet paper roll and a marble. Have each child hold the sheet by one corner or side. This works best with eight children. The marble and the toilet paper roll are placed on the cloth. The children must now try to let the marble roll through the roller by lifting and lowering the cloth together.
Farewell Games: Creative Letters
For this game the children must be able to write simple sentences. You prepare a sheet of paper so that each line begins with an introductory word, eg Dear, I, because, but, and, at the end, yours. The children take turns writing a line on the letter and folding it over at this point so that the next child does not see what is already on the letter. Finally, the last person in line reads this fellowship letter aloud. The result is sure to create a relaxed atmosphere, since a really nonsense letter is often the result.
