Meatball recipe for the children’s birthday party

The delicious meatballs are a real party classic, cold or warm. They are quick and easy to make and simply taste delicious. Also ideal as a small snack in between.

You need for 4 people:

  • 2 small onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1000g mixed minced meat
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 3 tbsp oil

Preparation of the meatballs:

Finely dice the onion and garlic. Put them in a bowl with the mince, breadcrumbs, parsley and egg. Season generously with salt and pepper and mix to a smooth consistency. Shape them into eight equal sized meatballs. Flatten them slightly to sear them.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry them until light brown, about three to four minutes on each side. Then they have to finish cooking in a hot oven at 180° on the middle shelf for about 20-25 minutes.
