Circle games: cat and mouse
In this circle and catch game, at least 5 children from the age of 4 sit in a circle on the floor. A child is the mouse and has to run away from the cat. However, that’s not so easy, because cat and mouse are only allowed to hop on one leg.

Cat and mouse – that’s how it works
All the children except the “mouse” sat cross-legged in a circle on the floor. The mouse needs to take off one shoe and hop around the circle on one leg. Then, as inconspicuously as possible, she puts the shoe behind another child, which turns it into a cat. As soon as the cat notices the shoe, it must take it and chase the mouse on one leg. The mouse tries to take the place of the cat in the circle. If she succeeds, she gets the shoe back and the cat becomes the new mouse. However, if the cat catches the mouse, the mouse must start another hunting round.
