Stick catching – this is how it works
All the children stand in a circle, except for the “caller”. He stands in the middle of the circle and holds a stick from above, which stands vertically on the ground. Then the caller drops the staff and at the same time calls out the name of a fellow player. He has to catch the stick before it hits the ground. If he succeeds, he becomes the new caller.
