While Bello is sleeping, a mean thief steals his bone. Bello’s nose should now help him to track down the scoundrel. The more kids involved in this game, the more fun it will be.

Bello, Bello, your bone is gone! Thats how it works
All children form a circle. The first “Bello” is determined by counting. He sits on his knees in the center of the circle and hides his head under his arms so that he can no longer see. An adult puts a candy on Bello’s back. Now a child is prompted by gestures to steal his “bone”, ie his candy, from Bello. Then have all the children fold their arms behind their backs in a circle. Then they call: “Bello, Bello, your bone is gone!”. Bello can now go in search of the common thief. He crawls, sniffs and barks vigorously at the child who he thinks has his bone. The child barked at has to show their hands. If Bello’s nose has put him on the wrong track, he has to keep looking until he has found his “bone”.
