Instructions for baby massage: legs and feet

In order to achieve the optimal effect with the baby massage, you should carry out all movements about five to ten times. However, always pay attention to your baby’s reaction and adjust the number of repetitions accordingly.
Step 1
Hold your baby’s ankle with one hand and carefully stretch the little leg upwards. With the other hand, grasp the baby’s thigh and form a ring or a C with your fingers. Now slowly draw your hand towards the ankle and “milk” the little leg in this way.
step 2
When you reach the ankle, hold it with the hand that just massaged it and put the other hand back on the thigh. This creates a flowing movement.
step 3
After five to ten repetitions you take the foot in both hands. Then run your thumbs up and down the sole of your foot.
step 4
Take your foot in one hand and place your thumb on the sole of your foot. Now massage with gentle pressure and circular movements. Then you switch legs and massage the other one as well.
