What you need: photo cardboard in 4 different autumn colors, colored pencils, sticks, string, adhesive tape, scissors
Handicraft instructions for a leaf mobile
- For the mobile you need 9 leaves. It is best to help your child to transfer the leaf templates onto the paper. You should always alternately transfer the leaves to a different color, so there is some variety in the mobile.
- Now your child can cut out the leaves from the cardboard.
- Now your child cuts 3 strings, one a little shorter than the other.
- With scotch tape you now stick the leaves at an even distance to each other on the thread. Glue 4 leaves to the longest string, 3 leaves to the next string and 2 leaves to the shortest one.
- Once all the leaves have been glued to the string, tie the strings to the stick at equal distances next to each other. First comes the long thread, then the shorter one and finally the shortest one.
- Finally, you attach a thread to both ends of the stick, on which you can hang the mobile.
