Color print: handicrafts with children from 3 years of age
If your child likes to experiment with colors, they will love this printing technique. When printing, the contours blur and the colors flow into each other. The result is a small masterpiece.
Age: from 3 years
What you need: 1 plastic bag (small grocery bag or freezer bag), old newspapers, watercolors or finger paints, brushes, paper
Craft instructions for a color impression
- First you cover the table with newspaper – in case some paint goes wrong.
- Then you lay a tight plastic bag flat on the table.
- Your child can paint a picture on the bag with the brush and watercolors or with the fingers and finger paints.
- It then presses a sheet of paper onto the still wet paint and immediately pulls it off again.
- Then it lets the paper dry. Now your child has a little masterpiece, an original print.
