Age: from 3 years
What you need: watercolors, paper, wallpaper paste, jar for paste, brush, water glass, objects to scratch
Craft instructions for paste painting
- Before your child can get started, you have to make some preparations. Mix some wallpaper paste with water in a glass. As the paste solidifies over time, a little powder is usually sufficient.
- Then your child can brush the paper with the paste and then paint it with the watercolors.
- With the end of the brush, a toothpick or a comb, they can now scratch patterns into the paste-color mixture. When scratching, it can then let its imagination run wild. Whether it’s a fairytale landscape or a zoo – the finished picture will definitely be a masterpiece!
