What is the benefit of the fertility calculator?
After ovulation, the female egg cell can only be fertilized for about 24 hours. In order to use this period optimally and thus increase the chances of pregnancy, it is advantageous to limit the time of ovulation as precisely as possible. Our fertility calculator will help you with this, as it calculates your fertile period based on your data.
How does the fertility calculator calculate the fertile period?
The time in which an egg cell can be fertilized is relatively short, but the fertile time is significantly longer than 24 hours. This is because sperm can survive in the female body for several days. The fertility calculator therefore gives a fertile period of seven days: the four days before the calculated ovulation, the day of ovulation and the two days after.
Attention: The fertility calculator only gives average values. This means that the calculated data are in no case suitable for preventing conception. Menstrual cycle and hormonal balance vary from woman to woman and are influenced by numerous different factors. The fertile days and the ovulation date that are displayed to you are therefore only approximate values and do not represent any guarantee.
