Finger paint crafts: handprints
Children who like to mess with lots of paint will love this painting technique. Saved pictures are also a great souvenir of the sweet baby hands.
Age: from 2 years
What you need: finger paints, plate, paper, possibly a brush or sponge, kitchen paper or an old towel (to wipe your hands)
Handprint craft instructions
- Place desired shades on a plate.
- Paint your child’s hand or individual fingers with a brush or sponge, or dip directly into the paint and then press onto the paper.
- While the little ones simply have fun smearing themselves, older children can, for example, create animals and landscapes by combining prints.
- Tip: So that your furniture and walls don’t become a work of art, it’s a good idea to have a tap, kitchen paper or an old towel nearby.
