General information about three-day fever
Three-day fever is a mostly harmless but very contagious viral infection with fever for your child. It is transmitted by droplet infection and in most cases children under the age of three are affected. You can recognize the three-day fever by a suddenly occurring high fever flare. As your child becomes feverish, a red-spotted, rubella-like rash will appear on their abdomen and back. Don’t worry! This subsides after a short time and is a sign that your child is doing better.
