Movement: Your baby can sit up unaided for a few moments by 8 months and this position no longer poses a challenge for him. You can now put your baby in a high chair without any problems. By the 8th month, your baby is probably already crawling quite well and will take up the crawling position again and again. Even if locomotion in this position isn’t quite right yet, it’s only a matter of time before crawling is perfected as well.

In addition, by the age of 32 weeks, your baby will have everything under control. And above all literally. It practices the so-called two-sided coordination. This term describes the ability to hold an object with both hands. In the 8th month, however, this usually only lasts a few moments, after which it will probably let go of one of the two. In the 8th month your baby will very often let go consciously and with full intention. Your baby just has a blast watching different things fall. To a certain extent, this also contributes to a better understanding of the environment. That’s why you should now make sure that your baby only gets hold of sturdy objects that cannot easily break. Some babies are masters by the age of 8.

Senses: At 32 weeks, the baby can see in three dimensions and perceive all the tones that are visible to the human eye. It can now also estimate distances quite well, which is particularly helpful when your baby will soon be moving faster. You can convince yourself of his perfect hearing when your baby quickly turns his head in all directions when he hears a noise.
