Duchess cookies for Christmas
Everyone likes the delicious duchess cookies! That’s why it’s best to bake them in large quantities right away, otherwise they will evaporate immediately. You can also use almonds instead of hazelnuts. That way they taste even better for some people.

Ingredients:
4 egg whites
150 g sugar
1 sachet vanilla sugar
200 g ground hazelnuts
40 g flour
65 g butter
75 g fine chocolate
Preparation of the duchess cookies:
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and stir in the sugar. Mix in the hazelnuts, flour and butter.
- Spread 2 teaspoons of oval biscuits on a well-greased baking sheet and bake until light brown.
- Spread chocolate on half of the cooled cookies and press together with the other half.
