General information about insect bites, tick bites and jellyfish
Small injuries, insect bites, are provoked by stings or bites of various insects. Irritants or toxins get into the wound. Most mosquito bites are harmless. The severe itching can only be annoying. Bee or wasp stings, on the other hand, are very painful for your child and it is important that you react directly and pull the bee sting out of the wound. If your child comes into contact with a jellyfish while on holiday, the result can be burning pain, reddening of the skin and itchy rashes. The injury must be treated immediately! In addition, you can give your child Urtica urens (see below) for relief.
