The female egg cell can only be fertilized for 24 hours. However, since male sperm can survive in the woman’s body for a few days, there is a chance of conception for about seven days. This period consists of the four days before ovulation, the day of ovulation itself and the two days after ovulation.
The MomaSquad ovulation calendar shows you this window of seven days. There is only one ovulation per cycle, during which only one egg usually makes its way into one of the two fallopian tubes. In 1-2 percent of cases, two eggs can also set off at the same time. If these are then both fertilized, one speaks of fraternal twins.
Attention: This ovulation calendar is based on mean values and is therefore not suitable for contraception. The female menstrual cycle and hormone production and thus also egg maturation and ovulation are subject to numerous influences, so that the ovulation calendar can only approximately determine the fertile days and there is no guarantee for this.
