Varied recipe
This basic recipe also tastes good with oranges, pineapples and mangoes. Or turn it into an ice cream soda by simply tossing a scoop of sherbet on top.
What goes in the children’s bowl?
- 1 Ogen or Charentais melon
- 1/2 honeydew melon
- 325g raspberries or 1/4 watermelon
- 1 bunch of fresh peppermint
- 3/4 clear pear juice
- 1l mineral water
First you halve the melons and scrape out the seeds. Then use the ball cutter to cut out balls from the melon and put them in a punch bowl with the raspberries. Then wash the peppermint, drain and place half of the sprigs in the bowl. Pour the pear juice over it. You cover the punch for about two hours and let it rest. Remove the peppermint sprigs from the bowl. Pluck off the remaining mint leaves, put them in the bowl and top up with the mineral water.
