Marjoram potatoes with garlic

Everyone likes potatoes. The marjoram gives the tubers that certain something. Give it a try!

Potatoes as a side dish for the Christmas menu are always a good choice, and marjoram potatoes give them the finishing touch. Marjoram gives the potatoes a strong taste and is ideal for hearty dishes.

You need ingredients:

35 g butter
1 kg small potatoes
2 cloves of garlic
2 tsp marjoram leaves
¼ liter vegetable stock
salt, pepper

Preparation of marjoram potatoes:

  • Heat the butter in a large pan and add the peeled potatoes, halved, the marjoram leaves and the finely chopped garlic. Fry everything over medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown. Add the vegetable stock.
  • Then cook the potatoes in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 60 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
